Can anyone help one of our customers who has moved to Hereford. Is there a club anywhere in the area or within a reasonable driving distance.
He feels he wants to meet up with like-minded Shadows fans and players but has no internet access so turned to us for help. If anyone can help
perhaps you could contact us direct.

Nothing terribly near as far as I know. There used to be a club in Malvern but I think it closed some time ago. Looking at the Club Area on this site, South Wales and Warwick are both within 2 hours drive of Hereford and I imagine they're the nearest options, unless anyone can suggest a better bet?

We moved to a village eight miles from Hereford last year and can confirm what Iain says. I did post on several forums asking if there were any members near enough to start up a new club but only three people replied, all of them from a fair distance away.

Anyone thinking of visiting the South Wales club needs to contact them first. As I used to live in Bristol, I attended fairly regularly for three or four years and still get the occasional e-mail from them, but the last one said that attendance was now so low that they were considering closing down.

I used to run the 3 Counties Shadows Club with a friend in Great Malvern, Was a good club but 95% of the participants travelled from far and wide, There was only about 6 of us that were local and 3 of those are no longer with us, As much as I would love there to be a club in the Worcester/Hereford area, I'm afraid there just isn't enough people able or willing to support it. Believe it or not I travel up to Nottingham every 2 months to attend th club up there which is still very well supported...
