Posted: 11 Jan 2010, 22:47Certainly, along with Hank Marvin, one of the pillars of British Beat. His monster solos on "Some Other Guy", "I Can Tell" and "I'll Never Get Over You" are absolutely unbeatable. Obviously, Pete Townshend and Wilko Johnson were listening very closely. Rest in peace, Mick.
