During the BBC TV Programme shown on 31st August 1971 entitled 'Getaway With Cliff', there is a lot (over 9 minutes) of 'incidental music' played throughout the programme. Does anyone know if this was played by members of the The Shadows or if it is MW&F or maybe a band of session musicians?

I've asked this question before. Sounds like MWF to me.

I think we can safely assume it was mainly MW&F...

Notable also, of course, for the numerous appearances by Hank as the 'waiter' Pedro Marvin, and the 'artist' Pierre Marvin !!

If the programme was anything like Cliff's usual TV stuff of the period, wouldn't there be a studio band?

Rather than a studio based production as the TV series, it was a holiday special made on location in England and the South of France, with Cliff, Hank, Bruce, John Farrar, Olivia Newton-John and Severine, who won the Eurovision Song Contest for Monaco that year.
