Tracks you wish they had never recorded

In their later recording years The Shads recorded all sorts of stuff that I positively cringed at. My least favourite was 'The Skye Boat Song' (Simply Shadows, Polydor, 1987)- nothing to do with me being Scottish - it was simply awful. In fact, other than 'Pulaski', I thought the whole album was dire.
Any other tracks in their history that make you cringe?
PS I know contractual agreements required them to make x number of albums and they didn't always have a say etc etc.......

I thought "Always On My Mind" from the 1990 "Reflection" album was less satisfying.

It just goes to prove that you can't please all of the people all of the time! While 'Simply Shadows' is not one of my favourite albums, 'The Skye Boat Song' is one of my favourites from it. And 'Always On My Mind' is one of my favourites from 'Reflection'. But I do agree with the other suggestions.....

Regarding "Dear Old Mrs Bell". According to Mike Read's Shadows biography, this track was released on the same day as The Beatles' "Lady Madonna, Simon and Garfunkels' "Scarborough Fair", The Four Tops' "If I were a Carpenter" and Cilla Blacks' "Step Inside Love". It led Disc magazine to describe the Shadows as "Still four of the dearest loved creatures in Pop". The track is atributed to a song writer called John Bryant (Who?). At the time the track was issued, the Shadows would only have been aged 26-27, what were they thinking of ?.How could they have gone from "Jigsaw" to this in only nine months?. For me, I not only hate listening to "Dear Old Mrs Bell", I hate anybody else hearing it too. It is the kind of song that would be recorded today by the loathsome Daniel O'Donnell. Mrs Bell - a clear case for euthanasia!.

Funny how tastes differ. Whilst I agree with most of the other suggestions I've always liked 'Sailing.' When the album containing it came out (Hits Right Up Your Street) I constantly played that track and I was particularly struck by Bruce's distinctive rhythm part. That was the first time I had noticed chorus being used although I didn't know what it was at the time.
