Once saw a Hank Marvin lookalike in London Underground playing "Wonderful Land" to a back track. Gave him a fine tip!

Greg - there used to be a guy who regularly stood at the top of one of the escalators in Oxford Circus playing all the shads hits to a backing track - he even had a strat - and specs - so that must have been the guy you saw!

A What a wonderful read this was and how wonderful of BB to do such a thing, although I am not really surprised ;-)
He's not only a great musician, but also a GREAT human being (they all are).
Thanks for sharing this story!
