I have been lucky recently to collect almost all LP's of KPM Music featuring Brian Bennett's recordings. Does anyone know if he also plays on compositions of other composers, like John Fiddy, Alan Hawkshaw, Wally Asp and others? I once asked Phil Jarvis about this and he told me that Brian plays on the whole of the albums "Chartbusters" (KPM 1176, 1976) and "Hot Wax" (KPM 1177, 1976), both of which feature some of his compositions.

I would think it extremely likely that he plays on many of Alan Hawkshaw's recordings. As for Wally Asp, wasn't that just Wasp under another name? If so, then he would definitely be on these, along with Dave Richmond, Steve Gray, etc...

hello,also have all the bennett kpm lps,and hawksaw kpm,i know hes on some of the hawkshaw,fiddy,and i think some of the keith mansfield lp's,from a number of b.bennett interviews i have,he mentioed that he with other kpm artist played a lot of the lpsall the best,moondawg
