Past Masters and Damion - live theatre show

It's two weeks today that we get together to perform all our favourite Cliff & The Shadows tunes over at the Acorn Theatre in Worksop. It's 75% sold at this moment so there is room for more, so if anyone fancies a good two hour blast of Cliff & The Shads, we'd love to see you there.
By way of a change, we have decided to include a lot of the early stuff including the rock and roll classics, as well as the later 'double six' tracks , so I need to get stuck in to some serious practice . . . . :)

Sunday 18th April
PAST MASTERS with DAMION at THE ACORN THEATRE, WORKSOP

Tickets £10.00 phone box office 01909 501817 (closed all bank holiday week)

Thanks to those of you who have booked up to now, it's begining to fill up nicely.
We had a knock this afternoon and I can tell you that the double six is a devil to play. In order to achieve a similar sound to the record, I have to play an octave down on 'Don't Talk To Him' and it's in a lousy key. It sounds great though - as long as I don't cock it up . . . . If I do it will sound twice as bad.

Cheeky b******, it is cheap rate at a tenner - The Foot Tappers and The Fabulous Shadows are asking £16-50 . . . . ;)

Cheap at TWICE the price.......................AND, I'm a pensioner!!!
Looking forward to it!
Regards
Paul

PS: Marg and me spent Easter weekend in Northumberland, and were delighted to get "Concession" rates for most of the attractions. However, it got us thinking about the rationale behind "Pensioner Rates". The truth is, that we're better off now - in real terms - than we've EVER been. If we'd been able to get "concessions" when we were bringing-up the Kids - when we were REALLY struggling - now that WOULD have been a helpful benefit!
