NORTH NOTTS 7th ANNIVERSARY MEETING 18th APRIL
Posted: 11 Apr 2010, 11:05Well it's that time of year again folks, the North Notts anniversary meeting reaches its 7th year and the meeting will take place on Sunday April 18th at the usual venue. (Details over on the club page).
As you know we try to have a celebrity or something special for the anniversary meetings but I'm afraid that this year owing to previous work commitments everyone I approached to be with us have had to decline the invitations. However, without exception they have all promised to join us at some time in the future. I think that we may have to accept that our special guests may not always be available for the April anniversary meetings and that we'll have to run a "special" at one of the other 5 yearly events. Having said that, I've hopefully already bagged next year's guest(s).
Anyway back to this year's meeting. If you don't mind having an inanimate object as a special guest then I'm pleased to announce that on Sunday we will have for your perusal a TVS3 echo unit up and running courtesy of my good friend Tony Parnham who has just taken delivery of the device.
All are welcome to use the unit for backing tracks and the live session so if you want to hear one of these machines then get yourself to Whitwell this Sunday!
