Cathedral on "alternative" cover photo for "Los Shadows"

There's been a little discussion on this subject in the comments on one of the EP covers in the gallery, but I thought it might be of wider interest.

Heinz (chronikman-ch) suggested that the cathedral in the pictures used on the covers both the "Los Shadows" EP and a Spanish Cliff Richard EP might be La Seu Cathedral, Barcelona.

The cathedral in the picture does indeed appear to be La Seu:

...but there was scaffolding around the frontage when the Google van went past!

... another image from the book by Dezo Hoffmann 'Cliff Richard And The Shadows Around The World In Pictures' probably shows one of several images, which was used for the cover. I still think that this cover is a collage.

Hi Heinz,

I completely agree with you that the 'Cathedral' EP cover is a collage. There are no buildings that close to this side of the cathedral. Also, the sun shadows on the cathedral (top right) do not fit the shadows on the building on the left side.
