Just a reminder of our annual do in June.
We will have for your entertainment Mr Brian Locking, 'Out of The Shadows',
Legend, Shadzband, Ian Geast, raffles tombola and much more.

The event is held at The Northumbrian Suite, Lancaster Road, Dunston
Tyne and Wear NE11 9JR
Saturday is from 12 noon to 6pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm
Tickets are £9 for one day ar £16 for both days

Alan there was a story in the press a few months ago saying that the brewery was being closed this year. Presumably it isn't happening - or not yet.

Well............all that's FINE if you've been before...........what if you're a "first time" visitor?
Or is the Tyneside Shadows Festival some sort of "closed shop"?

Nah!...................shan't bother - didn't join the Masons, either!
Not into secret societies - even if they DO play Shads-style music!!

No Paul, you needn't worry about any secret societies at all- the secret handshake that Alan is talking about is the one where you hide a £20.00 note in the palm of your hand and pass it across to Alan when you meet him - and the initiation ceremony that George aludes to is just that you have to whistle "I wish I could shimmy like my sister Arthur" in the key of Bb whilst buying all of us from the west coast of Scotland a round of drinks at the bar - shimples!
