Singing The Blues key change

Postby Martin Page » 21 Sep 2009, 10:11

I love the key change in Singing The Blues. The song follows the standard format: verse, verse, middle eight, verse in G before going to the solo in A but then reverts back to the G again for the second solo - brilliant. Although you can easily hear the first key change, the second is much more subtle. I was surprised when learning the song of the sneaky change back to G for the second guitar break - wonderful...

Correct - Just as Dave Edmunds arranged it in 1979. ;)

Cheers Dave, although I knew about the Dave Edmunds' version, I didn't know the arrangement was the same.
