Love Soup

Just recently bought a boxed set of the BBC comedy drama "Love Soup" and surprised to hear The Shads featured 3 times on the soundtrack.
F.B.I and Rodrigo's Concerto (from String of Hits) featured twice.
Think the writer David Renwick must have a soft spot for Shadows music.
So much good music (especially the Shadows) doesn't see the light of day on the radio or TV now.
Even Radio 2 has gone down in my estimations, the only time they play Shads music is if it is requested.
But look around and there are lots of great downloads and cd's about, my current favourite is The Wurzels latest, we need more of this music!

Here, here Russ not enough Shads music on radio these days.
I know Brian Matthew uses Foot Tapper as his play out tune on Saturday morning and he occasionaly plays a track by the boys, but beyond that nada, nothing, diddly, zero.
