Hello all, went to see The Past Masters on Friday night. I go and see Robbo and the lads quite often. When they came on on Friday night i thought wow how good does Robbos guitar sound tonight, and when they played some Shadows tunes there it was THAT SOUND live his guitar sound was perfect im thinking what is he doing tonight he is always trying different things but i could not work out how he got THAT SOUND . When he came of stage i said what have you done to your guitar tonight , he simply said Sliders. Every one will what some i know i do. Neil

Hi Neil, if my sound was any different to anything you've heard from me before, that's the only thing I am using that is new. The amp is the usual Marshall built Vox AC30TBX with Roger Alcock's Vintage Unit, the echo is the Magicstomp and the guitar is my old '63 Strat with the Sliders pickups. They definitely do have a certain mojo that I can only describe as 'it'. Thanks for your kind comments - see you soon.
