SOUTH COAST SHADDOWS CLUB `JET HARRIS` EVENING

What a fantastic night we all had, I have never felt such a fabulous atmosphere on a club night in all it's seven years since it started, Jet Harris was so on form, and you could see from his smile that he was really enjoying it, this is the third time he has been backed by The Shadders, and when you think none of them rehearsed with Jet, it was straight in and play, and may I say what a superb job they all done, the pub was packed out with a fantastic enthusiastic crowd, they all loved it, and it seemed to be over so quickly and yet Jet was on stage for nearly 45 minuets, as he said he needed to get off to go to the loo!! ( I'm not surprised I think I got him about ten mugs of tea !! )...........The evening started in the usual club way with players performing to backing tracks, then the Shadders came on and done their first spot of the evening , followed by Jet Harris, then each club player played with the band..........The evening never finished until 11.55, but I think it could of gone on all night, Thanks to The Heroes landlord Tony for making it all possible.........Just one thing let to say

"Shall we all do it again next year"............Highlight of the night for me.To see Jet show everyone his award from the Queen his MBE..........................Thanks Jet, and we all wish you well with your new tour with Marty Wild..............

If you could persuade Jet to come a bit further east along the south coast one Sunday afternoon, that would be ....dy marvelous!

Hi all i'am glad you all had a great night with Jet! i'am still buzzing from the heroes gig in Scarbourough and that's a week ago what a night and one i will never forget.

Myself & 2 friends who attended the club night had a fantastic evening, & yes, it seemed over far too soon.
I've never seen The Heroes so packed out, just goes to show the 'pulling power' that Jet still has on the fans. It was really special to see him back on stage again, & to see his MBE, of which he is so proud, & rightly so.
Thanks to The Shadders, to the landlord & all staff, & above all, to our very own Olderek for all his hard work in making the evening possible.
Lastly, I send my good wishes to Jet for the forthcoming tour with Marty & the other performers.

For the Shadders to play alongside Jet was a great honour for all of us ( one of my lifetime ambitions in all the years I have played guitar )!! We loved every minute. Thanks a bunch Jet.

It was great to see The Heroes packed to see Jet play with such punch and power. Everyone I talked to were thrilled to see the legend play at close quarters and to get a close up of his MBE! WOW!
