Blimey - I had a couple of tent pegs that shape last weekend after trying to get them into a 'hardstanding' base!!!
Chucked them in the bin - maybe I should have put a thread on 'em and flogged 'em on eBay.
cheers

Is it just me? I know 'THE MAN' himself uses this style of modified arm but, even so, I can't honestly understand what the problem is with the basic Fender trem. I have never had any problem muting with the standard fitted arm.

Nor me, Noel - and I think a Strat looks better that way too!

It would appear to me that the modified tremolo would sit better in the hand. The elbow, a small distance South (so to speak) would offer itself in line with the knuckles. Ergonomically, it should be more comfortable.
