Aaaaah!............."YORKSHIRE'S premier covers Band", eh? - there'll no doubt be those on here that would dispute that quote from the Cheshire FM website!
Well, at least the Drum Kit will be a Premier!!
As Pete says, though, a worthwhile cause that that will use your cash to the benefit of some elderly residents.
Regards
Paul

What a great afternoon that was. Lots of sunshine made it good for the audience, but the band were.....let's say perspiring somewhat!
The music from Life Story, and the two "guest artistes" was great, and Peter Creasey, where does he get the energy? He not only played with the rest of the band, but acted as MC for the afternoon. He hardly seemed to sit down at all.
Many thanks to all the Creasey clan, for a wonderful afternoon.

Great afternoons entertainment, brilliantly provided by "Life Story" - Peter,Kim,Charlotte Paul & David.
The Music sounded spot on, and the guy's hardly stopped playing from start to finish the whole afternoon, giving as is the norm, 110% to all present.
Many Thanks for an enjoyable afternoon of Shadow's music.
Best Regards
Keith (MagicOurMorris)

Hi Paul,
Glad you and June were able to make-it to The Manor, and thank you for your very kind comments!
How does Pete do it? - well, the oxygen helps alot - and you're right about him not sitting-down, but he DOES fall down quite a bit!!!
It's good that members of the Shadowmusic community (and not forgetting Tony from the Charlie Hall forum - whose brainchild this was) support these types of event. Not only do they help to keep our sort of music "Live", but we all managed to raise a bob-or-two ("£350 and counting") for The Manor's Residents Activities Fund.
Like you, I also enjoyed the two "Guest Appearances". The ninety-years-young lady on the keyboards will be an ideal replacement for our Lottie when she goes-off to Uni next year, and Fred - on Stratocaster-with-vocals - singing "The Martians Have Landed in Wigan" REALLY brought the house down and deservedly gained the loudest applause of the afternoon!
Not only do I hope to be as active as my Brother when I get to HIS age, ;) but I also would hope to be as active as Fred and his keyboards-playing colleague when I get to THEIR ages!!
Best regards
Paul
