Dave - Many thanks to you, rich and Chris for this. Your website has been a fabulous resource for many years. I think many of us take it for granted. It is greatly appreciated. Bernie

May I add my thanks for posting this.

Both on the DVD and watching it live (the second Cardiff show for me) it's obvious that Cliff & The Shadows were relaxed and enjoying every single minute of it. I'm sure that this was a key factor in the show being so brilliant.

An acquaintance of mine went to see the show with his wife because she's a Cliff fan. He said to me "it's not really my thing, but it was actually the best show I've ever been to!"

When I was still young and naive (and innocent, of course!) Dave's Shadows website was the very first Shads website that I ever saw! Needless to say, I am delighted to have had the chance to contribute to it over the years.

So, thanks Dave for giving me the opportunity to write the aforementioned live review. It's the best I can do with my mediocre writing skills, but I hope that I have managed to convey the absolute brilliance of what was definitely one of the best concerts/tours that I have ever attended. I hope I've done it justice.

Thanks again.

Chris

P.S. The overall design, layout and choice of photos really enhances the review. Nice one!

Exactly the same applies for me. In 2003 Dave Dixon's website was to me the "official" Shadows website (and not the poor page they set up on the occasion of 2004's Final Tour). I learnt a lot about our favourite band there, for which I am very grateful to you, Dave.

Best regards,
Ramón.
