Hi Phil
Thanks very much for those links. I've just finished watching the interviews and really enjoyed them.

A few thoughts sprung to mind while watching.

As a beginner (6 months or so) guitarist? (not sure if I can refer to myself as a guitarist yet) I find 'single notes' far easier to manage than chords - although I am still many years away from mastering either. :)

Also the music is always far more important to me than lyrics. It doesn't matter to me at all what anyone is singing about as long as the music is good and I'm hopeless at remembering words of songs.

Then when Bruce mentioned 'Quartermasters Store" I remembered when stuck in traffic (luckily I allowed plenty of time) to see The Shads in Brisbane in February this year, I ended up here for ages waiting for the traffic lights to change and was struck by the coincidence.

Quartermasters Store, Enoggera, Brisbane.

Anyway once again thanks very much. It was a fabulous start to the weekend :)

Best wishes
Rosemary
