Hi all, if you don't know the equestrian sport of Dressage it is the rider dancing with their horse to music. I was watching the 2010 freestyle championships held in Kentucky when the British rider prepared to enter the ring for her ride. Low and behold came the first notes of Apache followed by many Shadows tune. See if you can name them all. I may have this wrong but I heard her son plays guitar and he may have recorded the music. In any case it's nice to see the music of the Shadows used for such an top equestrian sport. Anyone else see this??? Here is the youtube link:

It was mentioned on BBC breakfast the other morning.
They had a bit of a laugh about it.. did the "da-da-da-ee-ow" bit etc.

Some clever editing on the audio to make it fit..(was it all the shadows??)

Said to 'er indoors "they're everywhere now...must be due a MAJOR retro renaissance!"

BTW got a friend to ask Bruce to sign my copy of his book at Shadowmania..Many thanks Mr.Welch

Well that music helped Laura to take the Silver medal in the freestyle event, so well done all those involved in the creating of the musical programme, and congratulations to Laura herself and 'ALF' for a brilliant performance.
