Hi folks, many years ago, there was a tune out and i can't remember the name or the artist who recorded it. Some of the lines went like this: If you want to get into trouble, heres how to do it. you buy a guitar and your into it you play all day and you play all night till your mothers hair is a turning white. Have a great day. Scott

Hi Scott, the number you're thinking about is "Talking Guitar Blues" written - and recorded - by that great Bluegrass legend, Ernest Tubb - Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Tubb's version but I do have a copy of Lonnie Donegan's version on the LP Lonnie Rides Again (Pye NPL 1843) - recorded c.1959.

Best wishes
John

You'll get both versions on Spotify.
Ernest Tubbs version goes under Ernest Tubb's Talking Blues.

It was real amiss o'me to refer to Tubb as a "Bluegrass legend" - Ah wuz gettin' mah Westerners a'muddled an' cornfused - He wuz of course just a C& W singer - mah apologies to y'all.
