Paul

I would like to get to the club a little earlier than usual for rwo reasons:

1 If you have no objections I would like to set up my son's Marshall Valvestate amp with magicstomp - great sound in the bedroom sized room.
wondering if it sounds as good in a larger room?

2 Ian and I are particularly fond of June's coconut cakes - i'd like to commendere a couple of them before Ian gets there and polishes them all off!
Only joking Ian.

Best Wishes

Tony

Thanks Peter,
We are fully equiped, with bass amp, 3 or 4 amps for lead/rhythm, full PA, and CD player for BTs.
Looking forward to seeing you and Kim on Saturday.
We start the music at 2.00 (Prompt, I hope).

Add to all the amps and PA a couple of Zoom2000EFTPs, a Q2EFTP, a G2 or Magicstomp (whatever it is that Mike uses :? ) and its beginning to look a very 'Shadowy' picture! When we switch that lot on, the lights in Congleton go dim!!
cheers

The amount of baking going on in our kitchen, I am NOT looking forward to the next power bill!!
Still, if it keeps Ian happy, (and FULL), it will be worth it.
If you want any coconut slice, get there early, before Stratpicker scoffs it all!!!
He always says that he is taking some for Sixchannel.

As it turned out, this was the best supported Congleton Club Meet - EVER!! Junes cakies certainly have some "Pull" ¬!¬!
Players from as far afield as Blackpool, Sheffield, Buxton, the odd Hankies or two (and we're mostly 'odd' ) from Wolverhampton as well.
Great variety of music - and even some singing too.
More Vox's on stage than on the "Reunion" tour
The Meeting closed at 5.30 and I reckon we could all have kept on going for another hour - or so!
PIggin' Brilliant, Tommy!
Next mayhem - December 4th. COunt me in.
cheers
Ian and thanks to Paul and June for a great day and good company.
