PIPELINE AND ONE FOR THE DIARY

The autumn issue of Pipeline magazine landed on the doormat today and it looks a great read, including an in-depth piece on The Eagles from Bristol who deserved far greater reward in my book.

The letters pages include items from The Ventures, Vic Flick and Mo Foster ... Clearly the magazine of choice.

That is as far as I've got because there is so much good material to wade through -- oh apart from spotting a picture of a certain Mr Jim Nugent performing the guitarist's version of the Usain Bolt victory moment!

Besides producing yet another meaty magazine, Alan Taylor, Dave Burke and the team have announced the date for the 2010 Pipeline Conventon -- Easter Sunday April 4.

Ah... so he is one who takes part in the running, leaping, crouching down, hopping, skipping, jumping and standing still stuff?

Quite right George, although maybe they don't actually let him out anymore ...

Jim, Isn't that your forefinger pointing skywards? Well, that is what Usain Bolt does every time he wins a gold medal.

Not of course that we're suggesting you're gold medal material ...
