For the BBC film "The Road To Coronation Street" (broadcast a month or two back), several early sixties instrumentals (including a couple by The Shadows) were used on the soundtrack, with at least one piece from 1961 even though the drama was pointedly set in 1960.

For the trailer, Walk - Don't Run! by The Ventures was used - but it wasn't used in the film. I wonder whether this will be repeated with this new programme (set in 1963, making Dance On! both relevant and non-anachronistic)

Hope no one minds, but I amended the title of the thread to include the title of the TV show 'Indian Doctor'. 8-)

Both Apache and Move It were among the '60s tracks used in the first programme today, the series continues tomorrow at the same time - 2:15pm.

Yep, & a few other "oldies". Quite liked it, a bit predicable - must be getting old!
