Steve, the two separate occasions are: being logged in as opposed to not being logged in . . . So there you have it, you are definitely not going mad (at I least I hope not) !!

Bojan is right. Some forums are only available to registered users so you have to be logged in to see them. These are, sound files, backing tracks, chords and tabs and the marketplace.

When you next log in make sure you check the box which says "Log me on automatically" and you will always see them.
