Boss Micro BR digital recorder

Hi All, what size SD card can i use in the Boss, Jessops told me today only upto 1GB, also is it a special card for audio? thanks Keith

Yes, it's up to 1GB, which is already a lot !
There no specific audio SD card, but there is an initalisation process before using one in the digital recorder (which will erease any data previously stored on the card).

Actually you can use bigger SD cards but the problem is the BR´s track counter which won´t manage that amount of info. But it´ll be recorded in any case.

The only other thing to point out Keith is that some units are 'fussy' about certain manufacturers SD cards for some reason and I have a Zoom MRS 8 which aslo takes the 1gb card and remember something poited out somewhere about using certain manufacturers for the cards but I got one and it worked OK but jus to be aware ! :idea:

Thanks Rog, the original is a Sandisk and thats what i've bought (2GB)

Ok Keith you will probably have to find the formatting option in the menus to use the card to initialise it in a similar way that we format computer disk drives so the Boss can read and write to it.
