I've noticed recently that when light hits my guitar body at a certain angle the finish seems quite rough.
Although very smooth to the touch it does seem rather lumpy under certain lighting conditions.
Is this normal or is it a sign of future problems.
The guitar is a '57 "re-issue" CIJ Strat.

Hi john, looks like the wood was not competely dry and it's now shrinking. Scott
