A sound engineer who is a friend of my son and has worked in the previously on a Shads tour, told him that Bruce is in hospital with a heart surgery. Anybody know any more on this?

Harold It has been known for a while about Bruce being unwell.
I think it's in our best interest to keep this very low key at the moment, I know for sure that's the way Bruce would like it, so to you and everyone please respect Bruces privacy at the moment, when we have more news we will keep you all up to date........Thanks

Deleting This Thread Would Be respectful don't you think.

This news had to come out in to the open at sometime, we could delete this thread but what's the point ,sooner or later another member will only put the same message up, at least this way everyone is kept aware of what is going on in the nicest posible way..............Thread deleting is not allways the best way .......Thanks

Nothing to aplogise for, in my opinion. If true it is important "News" about one of the Key people to whom we dedicate this Site, just as information about Jets recent problem with Cancer was posted on here.
Sure, Bruces privacy should always be respected but he can look in here (as maybe he does from time to time) and see that we are aware and caring.

It was news to most of us and it was Derek's response that was inappropriate.
