JET – LATEST NEWS & GIG 5th FEBRUARY

Many people have been asking for news of Jet, so I wanted to update you on his first gig of 2011. Also, people have been asking about Jet’s health. As always, Jet wants to be completely open about his health and his cancer diagnosis. So, he has said it’s OK to let everyone know that unfortunately he has been having some problems since the end of the very successful ‘Born To Rock ‘n’ Roll’ Tour with Marty Wilde last autumn.
Jet had been experiencing some pain with an enlarged lymph node in his neck and a swollen arm due to lymphoedema. Unfortunately, over Christmas and the New Year he was also suffering with a chest infection and pleurisy. He was quite poorly and had to go into hospital for a short while, but he is back home now and is feeling much better. Also, he has had some further tests at the hospital and, finally, the doctors have located the primary site of Jet’s cancer, which is in the breast. Jet will now be receiving medication to help with this.
The good news is that Jet is now “raring to go†again and is looking forward to his first gig of 2011! So, if you’re anywhere near Ferneham Hall in Fareham, Hants this Saturday, 5th February – please do come along. Jet will be backed by The Shadowers and Licorice Locking will be making a special guest appearance. Also headlining will be Mike Berry, John Leyton and The Flames.
