photo/picture libraries

Just been looking at some great recent shots of Cliff and the Shads at the Rex Features website. Although this may have been mentioned before, I'm sure it has, do they and the other libraries sell to private individuals or just organisations and the trade? Rex is the first one that springs to mind, but I know there are others. Just wondering as I would be interested in getting a couple of pics to frame. Also interested in pics from such things as The Sweeney, The Professionals and the UFO TV series.

If anyone has had any dealings with these pic libraries, or can help with suggestions, then I'd be grateful.

Thanks.

Interesting/rare picture about two thirds of the way down this ( http://www.rexfeatures.com/search/?&kw= ... rch_newest ) page. Tony M with Hank, Bruce and John. Presumably this was in '68 when Brian was recovering from his appendectomy.

Chris, if you look at both Google and Yahoo Images you'll find everything that they have on record of Cliff and The Shads.
There is a massive amount to trawl through but hopefully you can find what you need.
Good luck!
Cheers, Ian. 8-)

There are some really great pics amongst them. Didn't notice the Tony Meehan pic first time I looked, but I did notice the one of the John Farrar line-up with Cliff - presumably taken in 1974. I'd love to get a couple of 'em framed and hung up on the wall -- maybe next to my giant sized Farrah Fawcett-Majors poster just acquired from eBay!!!!

I shall continue to peruse...

:D

An hour later:

Having just taken another look, it seems that the bulk of the pics are available only to 'professionals', but there is a smaller section that can be purchased by the riff-raff, such as us. Anyway, the good news is that the one pic that I specifically wanted is amongst this select number!!! And this is it:

Dramatic, eh? So hopefully it will be hanging on the Drakula63 wall before too much longer...
