Excellent stuff and what I admire about this guy is that he worked it out from listening to someone else play it - no tabs, just talent, he put the time in !

REALLY good!!
Even the late, great, Joe Morello wouldn't have added much to THAT performance!
Just a bit worried, though, Our Kid!....................If this is what you're listening-to just now, does it mean THAT'S what's next after (or even IF! ) we've mastered "Equinoxe PtV"?
Talent, and, as Dave put's it - "Putting the time in" is ALL - perhaps that's where I go wrong with my drumming!.
Regards
Paul

Is there any other way to learn anything but like Dave says?

I'm glad I learnt in the old days by ear and hard work...it would be awful to be dependent upon tabs, chord charts, videos, teachers, internet lessons etc

Beautifully done, a joy to watch as well as listen to. I love the deceptively casual way he plays the intro!
