Jet tribute at Brisbane concert today
Posted: 27 Mar 2011, 10:06Today I attended an 'Old Rockers' (that's its real name btw) concert and shortly after it began the band mentioned that Jet had passed away just over a week ago and performed 'Atlantis' in his memory. At the table near where I was standing there were some people who hadn't heard and were shocked to hear this very sad news.
I stayed for about 3 hours and it was great as in the time I was there they played music entirely from the 60s and very well too. I'm hoping my husband will accompany me next year if it's on again but he had other commitments today. Even though I was alone I still had a great time listening to the music - and so did everyone else by the look of them.
If anyone from this site was there, I was wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt with guitars on it.
