Just a quick reminder that this month's meeting is brought forward to next Sunday (17th) to avoid clashing with other events.

Chris and Eric from Surrey's 'Silver Shadows' will be joined by the rest of the band to provide a full back line for us to play along side as well as contributing to the afternoon with a few numbers as a unit.

Backing tracks still available for those wishing to perform with these (the band don't know everything after all!)

We're keeping the 1:00 pm start for the time being.

All welcome - look forward to another splendid afternoon of good company, good music and good humour.

Are you finishing at 17:00 again or are we able to go on a little if necessary? Just remembering the last time where we had the other band suddenly arrive...?

Hi Chris - we were booked until 6:00 last time but out of respect for the evening band's need to sound check, we packed up a bit early.

There is usually no urgency to leave the room, which, we hope, will be the case this time, so we can go on a little longer if we have a lot of players there as we did last time.

Fresh from our French Experience on Saturday "Les Rotis de Boeufs" (Bob, Bruce, Mike & Ken) will be driving from Le Shuttle to Seaford, via Ashford Station to drop off Ken, who is going to Wembley for the FA Cup Semi Final.

Looking forward to enjoying a great afternoon at the seaside.
