Can anyone tell me the name of this guitar player playing slide guitar on this video?
Is he the same player that plays the title sound track to "Red Dwarf"??

Do you know if he's the same guy that played on Red Dwarf's title track?
I saw him in a concert with Cliff here in Bangkok about 5 yrs ago, and failed to take note when the name was annouced.
He's got great sound, nice style. He's there!

You might recognise the tune!! lol !!
CLiff did a TV "An Audience With - " some time ago and John played a different and even BETTER solo! If only my HD Recorder hadnt blown up!!cheers

Found it!! If you like John's SLIDE work - get a load of this!!
The whole track is brilliant guitar backing some singer or other
and the JC Solo starts at 1.44 - AWESOME!!!

I must say, I find Cliff's band from the 1970's even better, with Terry Britten on lead guitar, Alan Tarney on bass guitar, Brian Bennett and Trevor Spencer on drums amongst others.

Correct. In fact you can also see Cliff's other guitarist, Martin Jenner (sadly no longer with us ) in the yellow suit with the left handed guitar in the "Oh Boy " section.
John Clark has been cliff's guitarist constantly since 1980 until last year when an american rhythm section played on the " Bold as Brass " concerts and of course the Cliff and the Shadows tours had a different lead guitarist!!!
