Hello everyone,
Just to add to "Little Bro's" post (above). We went to The Acorn a while back, and they mentioned the difficulties that they sometimes have directing people to their (excellent) venue. Whilst it IS in central Worksop, it IS in a "side street" - there is a large car park across the road, though - and the nice people who run this Community Theatre have asked the local authority for some Brown "Tourist" signs to help people find them. Whilst this is entirely possible, the (not inconsiderable  ) cost has to be funded by the Theatre. That's where we came in - our 16 July Gig is intended to contribute to the "Tourist Sign Fund"!
These Community Theatres really ARE having a hard time just now, what with Arts Council Funding being reduced etc etc . As a committed (some say we SHOULD be! ) "Live" Amateur (but we hope not "Amateurish") Band, we want to "do our bit" in helping to keep these sorts of places open.
We would be delighted to see some of you there - we're told (and hope!) that tickets sales are going well, and it'll make a pleasant change for us to play on a "proper" stage again!!
Best regards
Paul.

P.S. for SatNav/Google Earth users, the Theatre's Post Code is S80 2AN
