Sounds of the Sixties today (30th April)

Postby Sleepwalker63 » 30 Apr 2011, 08:28

Brian Matthew spins the top tracks of the decade as well as rarities. This week tracks include Guy Mitchell, The Fourmost, The Everly Brothers, The Beach Boys, Traffic, Arthur Conley and there is a Three-In-A-Row as a tribute to Jet Harris and a Double-A side from The Beatles. The Sixties Chronicles look back at another royal wedding, Tottenham Hotspur's first 'double', the introduction of betting shops to the high street and Bob Dylan's first tour of Britain

Yes we heard the tribute to Jet by Brian Matthew. He played Wonderful Land and Diamonds.
