Is it just my computer?

Hi
This is a query for all the computer experts out there.
Whenever I click on a link from this site to U-tube, (eg. the Peter Frampton plus Hank and Brian one) after about a minute or a minute and a half, my computer goes to a blue screen with white writing on for a split second, (too quick for me to read anything) then says "no signal" and starts to re-boot. If I go direct to u-tube, no problem.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just my computer?? HELP :?:

Sounds like "the blue screen of death" :P

It is an issue with your PC. Suggest scanning it with something like CCleaner which is free (Google for it) and clean out the "grunge" built up over time.
And run a registry check with it - see if that helps clear up the issue.

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Paul
It definitely sounds like BsoD.
Does your screen look like the images here just before it reboots?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Screen_of_Death
It's often a driver conflict and can be easy or difficult to fix depending on the cause.
Sometimes just thinking back on when it started, any new programs or hardware you might have installed etc. can give a clue to its cause and there are lots of programs including basic Windows maintenance tools that might help.
All the best
Rosemary

Yes I would say BSOD just before reboot often down to faulty drivers for video cards but make sure you clean out your temp files / history and get latest versions of softwares etc. Windows update on newer systems and use a registery cleaner and anto virus firewall and a malware scanner all dree often from http://www.Download.com

Utube uses flash player free from Adobe get latest version as well
