I have already got USA fender strat plus, jap hank marvin signature guitars. Have been looking at sonic pro guitars, they look good, has anyone got any experience with them?
How do they compare with the real thing?
Thanks
Jonathan

Honest reply - I thought they looked good too, bought one and sent it straight back the same day and demanded a refund. Now why do you think I did that?
Some good advice, If you want a Strat, stick to what you know.

Hi, I have one of their Hank marvin guitars. I have had it for 2 years and I am very pleased with it. It is well made and gives a genuine hank sound, and I prefer it to the Jap strats. I think they are worth considering. I used to have a Jap hank marvin guitar from 1992 and was glad to get rid of it. My two guitars now are the sonic pro and a very nice burns marquee. Hope my comments help,
regards Rover

Hi Jonathan,
A friend of mine has a Sonic Pro badged with the Fender logo (Don't know if thats legal) they might have some sort of Franchise with Fender.
But the build is very good, the AAAAA maple neck is beautiful, he had it fitted with the Hank kinmans, all in all it sounds very good through a Vox AC15 heritage
and EFTP unit it came with its own kind of Easy mute tremlo, or shall I say a tremlo arm that is bent the same way.
Whichever way you look at it the Pro Sonic is a custom built guitar with all the good looks my mate is also a very good player and could get a tune out of a park bench. It sounds very very much like the Shads sound when he plays it.

Nice guitar - body ( vintage ) from 64 - new neck ( is a new one )
from a luthier- original one was destroyed. Maybe that the
tremolounit was changed too.
Sounds very authentic for Shadows and Spotnicks and better than
my 2004 built 57 CIJ reissue and because of the "new" neck very easy
to play.
