Hi all.
I have just purchaced the Tom Jones LP Live At Caesars Palace LP, 1971. It says the backing band is Big Jim Sullivan, Kenny Clare and Shadows bassist
John Rostill. Should this not read Allan Jones? I do know Allan played for Tom Jones in Vagas but am not aware that John Rostill did.

John Rostill Played with Tom Jones for 2/3 years
he was with him after the Shadows Last tour of japan up untill 1972/3
i cant remember the exact dates. no doubt someone on here will know
Alan Jones Replaced John Rostill in Tom Jones Band
It was at This time Alan Jones had to decline a invitation to join Evis presleys band
as he was contracted to Tom jones

Hi all.
Thank you Jay for the info. As the notes say it must be JR on this particular LP. There must be a later LP with AJ in the band so I will have to look around the shops and fleabay. Thank's again for the info and pictures.
