Tour programme (absolutely beautiful)

Just received a couple of copies of the new tour brochure/programme in the post (we didn't want to buy them at the concert and get them messed up - plus they are pretty big!!) and I can happily report that it is the best tour brochure I have ever seen. We all know the story of the Shadows (and Cliff), so what we don't really want is a long, re-worded reitteration of what we already know. Which is great, because that's precisely what you DON'T get!!! All the info is there, but in small, bitesized bits. What we do get, however, is a visual tour through the decades, with absolutely everything covered! The photos and record sleeves are all there and some of the pics I will admit to never having seen before. Plus there are some new photos of the lads, including dozens taken during rehearsals. All in all, it is quite simply spectacular and, with 75 pages, well worth the money. The only omission I noticed (and a very strange one!) is that there is no reference to a certain 1979 Shads' album which went on to top the charts the following year! Oh well, I'll forgive them as absolutely everything else is represented; including solo works, Marvin, Welch & Farrar and a great colour shot of Cliff, Hank, Brian, John and Alan H from 1968.

All in all, an amazing item and one that I would fully recommend to everyone. End of advert.

;)

Oh and did I mention the quality? Glossy card and paper, produced to a very high standard. It honestly puts every other tour brochure I have ever seen to shame. Yes, even Duran Duran, 1987. Now that's a funny story...

You are quite right, it is absolutely beautiful.
I bought one at TheO2. Now I have to wait and see, if the Tour programme for the Danish concerts are in Danish. Then I buy another one.
