Hi Curley,

I've only just found your post - don't know why I missed it when it was first posted.

I think you'll have trouble finding the lead fills and solos in transcript. It really is a question of careful listening and learning by ear.

I have spent a lot of time on the riffs on the early Cliff numbers, particularly some of the less well known album tracks with the original line up where Jet's lovely strolling bass lines complement the lead fills. We include many of these at the Sussex Club meetings.

My advice would be to get along to a club near you if possible where you can get help from others.

Feel free to get in touch, I may be able to point you in the right direction with some of these songs.

Kind regards,

Terry

Hi,

From what I've heard of Terry's playing he's good at these Cliff tracks so he's learned them well.

If you want a starter there is an instruction DVD of a few Cliff numbers from Lick Library titled Learn to play Cliff Richard and The Shadows. Lee Hodgson gives detailed information on each note to play the lead guitar and info of the rythm guitar Check out their web site www.licklibrary.com It's list price is £24-99 but it's available on e bay a lot cheaper.
This DVD features the folowing.

Fall in Love With You
Living Doll
Please Don't Tease
