The Saunters drummer Torbjorn Pluggen Johansen died today, 59 years old. He died of cancer.

He became a member of The Saunters in the mid 60's and also played in rock and roll band The Missing Links.

His last gig was with The Saunters in Tilburg, April 2009.

I have had a lot of great times with Pluggen, playing all the concerts and all the travel with The Saunters.

You will be missed.

Sad news to hear of Torbjorns passing, he was a fine drummer and a nice person, my condolences to his family and friends and to the Saunters, the band of whom i have nice memories of our gig together in Norway to celebrate their 50th anniversary , good days,

The Saunters were a group unknown to me until Shadowmania a few years ago. They were brilliant. I am very sorry to hear of Torbjorn's passing. Another case of a lovely person dying way before their time. My condolence's to his family and friends.
