The Stax guitarist Steve Cropper is making a guest appearance with the Animals (sadly only John Steele, drummer, from the original line-up) at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, on Wednesday 7 September 2011 at 8.00 pm. Lots of seats available by the looks of it. A rare chance to see one of the iconic guitarists in action - and an opportunity to give a vote of confidence to Croydon after all their problems this week.
