Hi I visted the North notts club again , would like to thank everyone for making me welcome again had a really good afternoon again, I met Mr Alan Jones again too which is just great, He told my mum he had a critsium about my guitar playing, when mum asked what it was Alan said my dance steps were not quite in time . How cool was that? He likes my playing

Hi all.
I have to say it was my second visit to the North Notts for me, The first time was quite a few years ago when a Blackpool comedien turned up with a Custom Shop Relic Strat, Vox AC30 and an ESE echo. He apologised for not knowing how to work the echo as he had only just bought it. I do remember the sound he had, it was very good.
The sound this weekend was also very good along with all the players. Highlight's for me were the three young men on guitars and young John on the drums, I have to mention Ecca who gave a great rendition of Jeff Beck playing Flingle Bunt and The Savage. Geoff, I believe from the Doncaster club, produced some great Hank sounds from his Strat and Mike, again I believe from the Doncaster club, with his brand spanking new Alan Brason lefty Strat.
All in all a great day for Sue and me, meeting up with old friends and making some new ones.
