The brand new (remastered) BGO Tangent 2 - on - 1 CDs will be available at Shadowmania. Tangent hailed from Bristol and they were a superb group. The two Jefferies brothers Derek (Del) on lead / rhythm and Mervyn (Merv) on bass, rhythm, drums, keys - aided and abetted by the genial Billy (now sadly deceased) were the mainstays of the group. Between 1987 and 1994 they backed Jet Harris on numerous shows. During that terrible spell (1991 - 2004) when the Shads weren't recording and touring - Tangent kept the flag flying. As well as Jet, they enlisted the services of Alan Jones and also (on occasion), Alan Park.

Tangent also recorded numerous tracks featuring Jet Harris & Alan Jones. Many of their CDs came out as limited editions and are now long out - of - print. Now in 2011, they've been completely revamped and remastered as 2 - on - 1s with bonus material too. They sound fabulous. Details: BGOCD 1025
