The Foottappers Saturday Night At The Duckpond

Video Footage of The Foottappers Saturday Night At The Duckpond.
The best I could achieve from the position I had holding the camera with one hand trying to avoid my friend Tommy at the front of the table.
Jim.

Excellent version and interesting that they were playing it at 'Rapiers tempo'. I came across this description when doing a pickup gig (no rehearsal) on rhythm down at Jim Nugent's local pub with Jim on lead and a bass and drums from the Kent area. Jim of course can play Duckpond at speed but when the bass player asked him if he could play it at 'Rapiers tempo' everyone knew just what he meant. Colin was amused (not to say bemused) when I relayed this story to him later!

This is one of my favourite Instro tunes and I heard the Footappers play this in Tilburg and now again at SM. A very well played rocking number. Thanks for the video Jim.
