Hi there !
I believe the lead guitarist of this track is 'Big' Jim Sullivan, not Hank Marvin.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA8Dd4EB ... efresh_friBut chorus is Hank&bruce like " Solitary man ".
Wat do you think about it ?
Sincerly yours.

Hello Yuji,
There was an entire thread about this very recently. Did you follow it? The lead guitarist (as suggested by Jim Nugent) could well be Big Jim Sullivan. Yes, I agree that Hank and Bruce definitely provide vocal harmonies. They're not credited on the session sheets - but, the occasional error in that department was not entirely unknown. Or, by that time, their harmonies could have been recorded at some other time and then dubbed on later.

Hi Guys,
In the ''Complete Chronicle - Cliff Richard'' book by Mike Read, Nigel Goodall and Peter Lewry, session details of everything Cliff has done are listed. I have scanned the relevant part of the page relating to 21st September, 1966, and it credits Hank and Bruce on guitar. Rob is right when he suggests that session sheets were not always accurate (re: Jet Harris ''Diamonds'' ????).
The guitar certainly doesn't sound like Hank's style and sounds more Gibson than Fender. I remember Big Jim live on telly with Tom Jones and he certainly had that style... who really knows?

John, it sounds more like a Tele than a Gibson to me, with a definite flavour of mid-sixties Mick Green in the style.

The session listed there.....is actually TWO completely separate sessions (one for the Shadows - which ended at 5.30pm and one for Cliff which commenced at 7.00pm) - the Shadows were not involved with the 7.00pm session. For some bizarrre reason the 'Chronicles' simply put all of the personnel for two separate sessions into one!

Certainly doesn't sound like Hank.
Yup, Telecasterish.
Possibly Mick Greenish.
Whoever it is really drives the song along !
