Hi, Eugene,

That's a Burns - one of the prototypes for the Double Six (and Hank still has it - or an exact replica - in his collection).

That photo looks as though it was taken in early 1964, around the time that Cliff and The Shadows were still promoting I'm The Lonely One and Don't Talk To Him on European tours. Hank used the Burns when playing those songs live.

There is no evidence of Hank having his Fender Bass VI before the spring of 1965.

Hope this helps,

JN

Hi ! JimN.

Thank you very much for the great information.

"Don't Talk To Him " and " I'm the Lonely One " are very very popurar in Japan.

And I believe " Don't Talk To Him " has infruenced on " A World Without love " by Peter&Gordon that Big " Jim" Sullivan played 12 strings guitar.

Sincerely yours

eugene
