East Yorks Guitar Meeting

Hi,
Just a reminder that the next meeting on November 6th starts earlier at 11 am and finishes at 4 pm. This is because the band Shadowsmusic is playing at Walkers Fish Restaurant in the evening at a charity event for DEBRA ( for children with the skin disease epidermolysis bullosa ) and will allow the band time to set up. It will also allow those 22 club members who are attending the event time to get ready to enjoy those fish and chips too. I understand the evening session is sold out! Meeting is at the Ambassador Hotel on the Esplanade Scarborough as per usual.

Just a thank you to those who came to the club and then went on to the restaurant for their fish and chips and to listen to the band. Have just heard from Elaine at Walkers Restaurant that the amount raised for the charity was between £5100 and £5200 and the raffle itself raised over £850. So well done to all.
Next months meeting Dec 11th will start early too at 11am as many members liked the earlier finish to enable them to return home before it got too dark.
