There is a rumor going around that major record companies will be discontinuing CDs by the end of 2012 and will only have downloads!
I hope this isn't true! There are a lot of people who haven't the knowledge or ablity to use a computer so they will have to suffer.
It has taken me years to build up my collection of CDs

Interesting. I popped into a branch of a well known music chain on Sunday and noticed that they had changed all their display areas. Where the CDs once were, there are now DVDs and Blue Ray. The CDs, a lot less than before, were tucked away at the back of the store. Sad times ahead if this is true. I have an iPod full of my music, but I play it through a Bose system and not headphones. I still prefer CDs, especially in the car.

You can't get the needles for CDs anymore.

I tried them on my record deck and they sounded terrible - went back to vinyl!

I'm one who never left vinyl. The only way to listen to high quality Shadows music at home, or any other music.

Don't worry, vinyls are coming back, they are more and more popular !
