Mike, Graham and Geoff from Doncaster Shadows club are putting on a Charity night in aid of the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice on Thursday 1st December. The venue is the Hyde Park WMC , Carr House Rd,Doncaster. From 7.00 until 11.30 entrance is only £3.00 payable on the door so come along and support this very worthy cause. This will be an evening of great music and fun and your chance to help out this great organisation not only by paying your entrance fee but also digging deep and buying loads of raffle tickets!

Thanks

Well Done, Mike, Geoff & Graham the evening raised over £600 for the charity, A great Christmas present for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice thanks to the generosity of members of the Hyde Park Club. Good to see Alan Jones in the audience lending his support.

I pass that club almost every day--rough area with a known drug dealing problem and it sure looks a dump. Wouldn't leave my car there. Perhaps a better venue would be the ex ICI clubhouse on Wheatley Hall Road (the Parklands) where Robbo plays occasionaly. However that's not for me to say where you meet.

I think you missed the irony in my last post Brian, in truth your post was anything but helpful and could deter people from supporting the South Yorks Shadows Club. BUT back to the positive reason for this thread well done to the organising team of the Shadows club for their efforts.
